I am a bride in Perth, Western Australia. I am also a former magazine editor so although I had never really been a girl who dreamed of her wedding day - I was excited by all the possibilities. However, the closer I have gotten to the wedding day the more I have felt limited in my choices, limited by the expectations of WA people and limited by the resources available here in WA.
I have also met so many other WA brides in the same position, many of who have fell upon any suggestions I can offer from my past year of wedding planning like a seagull on a hot chip. That's why I have decided to set up this blog to share my experiences and those of my friends and other WA brides who have ways to make their wedding unique, more cost effective or otherwise interesting to all the future brides out there.
